International architectural competition MICRO ECO HOUSE 2021 for young architects and designers, students of architecture and design
The Ekokultplus Association from Belgrade and the Faculties of Architecture of the Universities of Belgrade, Zagreb and Podgorica are announcing an international architectural competition for a conceptual architectural solution on the topic MICRO ECO HOUSE 2021. The competition is intended for young architects, designers, landscape architects and applied artists up to 30 years. of the above areas. The deadline for submitting works is September 1, and the prize fund is 3,000 euros.
Prema rečima predsednika međunarodnog žirija Konkursa, arhitekte Vladimira Lovrića, „Konkurs ima za cilj da promoviše mlade stvaraoce i da kroz društvene mreže i prateće medije afirmiše koncept ekološke arhitekture. Na taj način se stvaralaštvo mladih generacija obogaćuje ekološki održivim pristupom projektovanju, dizajniranju i izgradnji zgrada uz korišćenje obnovljivih izvora energije, čime se doprinosi zaštiti životne sredine i sprečavanju daljih klimatskih promena“.
The competition opens the question of an eco-sustainable house, with its adaptation to the natural context and the use of renewable energy sources and natural ecologically sustainable materials, but it should also answer the possible existential minimum living space while providing all aspects of sustainable comfort. Ecological micro houses can give broad answers about the possibilities of quality and sustainable stay in nature and their use.
The concept of a micro house represents unique archaic objects located in nature, which are theoretically based on the idea of a minimalist house, whose focus is on its functional formal, form aspects, but also on social issues. It represents a possible answer to the question of the existential minimum for residence.
The modern moment caused by the corona virus pandemic has increased interest in living in nature and opened the possibility to influence and improve access to green technologies in such a creative way and promote the overall prefabricated house industry in the region, as one of the models of sustainable construction in the future.
The aim of launching the competition is to recognize, define and design a flexible and multifunctional facility as an essential part of the human environment by redefining basic human needs for living in nature, with the introduction of new technological, constructive, thermotechnical and energy efficient methods, using renewable energy sources. traditional ways of building and natural materials.
Dodela nagrada biće upriličena na svečanom otvaranju Četvrtog međunarodnog Kongresa Održiva arhitektura – energetska efikasnost, u petak, 8. oktobra 2021. godine u 19h u centralnom holu Jugoslovenske kinoteke, Uzun Mirkova 1, Beograd.
